Tyler Dellerman enters his second season with the University of Cincinnati Baseball Program as the Director of Offensive Skill Development. In this role, Dellerman plays a pivotal part in shaping the Bearcats’ offensive strategies, working with hitters and baserunners. He also contributes defensively, assisting with the development of infielders and catchers, and helping the program continue its rise to prominence. In addition to his on field coaching duties, Dellerman assists with administrative responsibilities including camps and expense reports.
Dellerman is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Head Coach Jordan Bischel and his coaching staff, stating, “I am thankful to Coach Bischel and his staff for this opportunity and look forward to continuing to learn from a great baseball leader. The University of Cincinnati is a special place in a great baseball city.”
Before joining the Bearcats, Dellerman finished his college career as a player-coach at the University of Charleston, West Virginia. During his final season, he worked with catchers while also serving as a standout player. Dellerman earned his degree in Secondary Special Education and a graduate degree in Strategic Leadership.
On the field, Dellerman left a remarkable legacy at the University of Charleston, where he was named the 2023 Mountain East Conference Player of the Year. He was also a First Team All-Atlantic Region selection and earned Third Team All-American honors. That season, Dellerman set a single-season RBI record for the program. His collegiate career also includes First Team All-Conference honors and a Second Team All-Atlantic Region selection in 2022, a 2021 Championship with the Cape Cod Summer League Brewster Whitecaps, along with recognition as the Conference Freshman of the Year at Urbana University in 2019.
A proud product of West Chester, Ohio, Dellerman attended St. Xavier High School, where he laid the foundation for his baseball career.
