Hitting Camp

This MLK Jr DAY join Bearcats’ Assistant Coach Tony Maccani for a hitting camp hosted at Tealtown Ballpark.

Hitters will be put through a number of drills with the plan to develop the right feel.

Coach Maccani will discuss swing mechanics, timing and approach. Drills will be provided to practice proper mechanics and improve timing & approach.

While the emphasis will be on an efficient, compact swing (i.e using your back hip as a pivot point and how to turn the barrel), hunting pitches will also be covered.

Hitters will be put through a number of drills with the plan to develop the right feel for the swing. Using a series of drills, each player will get a number of swings to begin to prepare for the spring season.
